The understanding of disturbances, conflicts and crises as an important indication for the development of group processes as well as for the personal development of each individual is an essential characteristic of TCI. This should be experienced and taught in the course.

""The old falls, time changes. And new life blooms from the ruins."" (F. v. Schiller)

Disturbances, conflicts and crises show me that the path I have taken is no longer the right one. I am forced to rethink and reorient myself. This usually does not work without pain and loss. But only those who are open to new things and who are able to follow new paths with determination and responsibility for themselves and others are capable of change.

In this course we will deal with the following aspects:

  • What feelings and thoughts are triggered in me when ""the old falls""
  • What resistance to and resources for change can I discover in myself, in the other participants and in the affected ""system""?
  • Which ""blossoms"" for ""new life"" do I discover in the ruins, when I look from a changed perspective at what are at first negative exacerbations?
  • What contribution can attitude and method of Theme-Centered Interaction (TCI) contribute to this?

In the same way, it can be about professional and/or private relationships and contexts that we look at together.

On the basis of TCI we work with a variety of methods, including art and design therapy, the inner team, systemic constellations.
